Don't Touch (The Complete New Adult Romance series)

This was a short trilogy about Alex and Damon, who were best friends while growing up but went their separate ways after graduating high school. Jump a few years later, while both are attending college and they had a random run in. Once running into each other again, old feelings start to be rekindled and they are stronger than Alex remembered. Through the ups and downs, they keep coming back together. Eventually, they both realize what they have together, only to be torn apart one more time. They FINALLY figure out that they are meant to be together for good. I enjoyed this read, however, I wasn't really a fan of Alex. She was somewhat annoying because she kept running from her problems, and I don't mean, staying home, I mean literally running away. At her age, I just thought that was a bit much. Otherwise, a great trilogy.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is not a bad story, but I didn't like Damon at all though. Every character has major flaws, and it's great to see them overcome them to become better people.

Short but very sweet

I have yet to read a Putney story that I have not enjoyed. Short stories make it hard to develop a believable plot or characters. This one manages both, probably because the H/h know each other from an earlier relationship. While reading this, I cared what happened to them. The Christmas folk play was an interesting detail. Entertaining.

I thought this might be a nice read. I wasn't really disappointed, but I wanted more. The characters were well-developed but... the book was too short to develop any real story between the characters.
