Roger E. Boswarva, FBIM, CPT, Chairman and Founding Partner of Ability Consultants, Inc. and Management Science Associates, is a management scientist of forty years experience in corporate, executive, and champion athlete performance improvement. As a Fellow of the British Institute of Management he conducted management training and led seminars and symposia on executive and corporate performance improvement for the BIM, and the Management Center Europe, Brussels. Now retired from academia and international consulting to major corporations, he has spent the last 10 years codifying the results of fifty years of research into aspects of human performance including the ability to learn. He is a Certified Performance Technologist with the International Society for Performance Improvement. Virginia Koenig has spent 20 years in corporate Human Resources, specializing in employee benefits and training. She holds the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the Wharton School of Business and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and is a Certified Performance Technologist with the International Society for Performance Improvement in. Wow! An incredible volume, full of answers, insights and tools!!

I am a tutor and have found this book to be quite simply a revelation! In using it, I am continuously amazed at the New understanding and insights in recognizing Not only when a student is having difficulty in an area we are covering, but WHY, and with specific 'WHAT TO DO's' to quickly and Effectively resolve it. This is not a book of theory, but one of real solutions I have been using routinely and that work amazingly! The troublesome 'barriers' to study, previously something of a mystery to myself, have been Efficiently laid out and addressed by Mr. Boswarva, & Co., to the great benefit to myself AND my students, whom I have found it helpful to thoroughly familiarize with as well. To have a book such as this, that contains so much observable truth in the area of learning and knowledge, is deeply satisfying and frankly, quite exciting. In my personal view, based on as said, my own hands-on experience in using it, is this information and approach would and should revolutionize the field of learning and comprehension as we know it. I only wish I had the stuff contained in this volume during my own education years! I am Sincerely indebted to the authors.....

Sophie Halart is an art historian specializing in contemporary Latin American art. She is currently completing her PhD on contemporary women artists in the Southern Cone at University College London. She has been a Graduate Teaching Assistant at University College London and a Visiting Teaching Fellow at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Santiago de Chile.

Mara Polgovsky is a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cambridge, where she received her PhD in Latin American Cultural Studies.

Kevin J. Gaston is Professor of Biodiversity and Conservation in the Department of Animal and Plant Sciences, University of Sheffield. He has twenty years of research experience in environmental science, conducting studies both in the UK and overseas on a wide range of topics, including conservation prioritisation, ecosystem services, invasive species, people-wildlife interactions, and urban ecology.

I have always wondered why exactly I was here. I'm not an "average," person~~I don't follow trends or fashions. I'm not particularly intimate and have no extraordinary talent. The only thing(s) I believe in are honesty, trustworthiness, empathy, sympathy, and a sense of "doing good" in the world.

I believe that everyone is a guardian angel to someone, but I've only been able to identify with my guardian angels. It never occurred to me that *I* could be one, too! Friends suggested I read this wonderful book ... as soon as I started to, I realized that there IS a reason for my existence.

I can't do a lot of things I could do in the past, but I have a [relatively] new outlook on things, which apparently, suggests that somewhere along the line, I was chosen to be an angel for someone else. I hope I can fulfill my mission~~because if you believe in something; it's bound to work.

This is not a "how-to" book; everything discussed was already a part of my life. I don't go around "trying to be" .... I just "am." I know because of the feedback I get from people I meet. All I "try" to do is be myself~~I'm learning that's pretty awesome.

AND, I don't 'try,' I just do.
